School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Claxton, Georgia

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Claxton, GA. This contract position is for the full school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students to support their communication needs.

Location:
Claxton, Georgia

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
• Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development.
• Conduct periodic reviews of student progress to ensure IEP goals are being met.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs.
