Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Position
Location: West Point, MS
Start Date: August 2025
Duration: 10-Month Contract (25/26 School Year)
Are you an experienced Speech Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to work with PreKElementary students? We are currently seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team for the upcoming school year. This full-time position covers four different schools and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and academic success of students in West Point, MS.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.
Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid Mississippi state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferably, at least one year of experience working in a school-based setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
