Occupational Therapist (OT) Needed Near Deerfield, KS

A school district in the Deerfield, KS area is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time role on their dedicated, team-oriented staff. This position provides flexibility, benefits, and the chance to positively impact students development and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in groups, based on identified needs

• Support student success by targeting areas such as fine motor development, sensory integration, self-care skills, and access to educational settings

• Create and implement therapy objectives aligned with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)

• Work closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support

• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with district and state requirements

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full Time: 37.5 hours/week

• Start Date: NSY

• Requirements: Active OT certification/license in KS

• Caseload: About 75 students over various K-12 buildings
