A role is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist, who will provide essential support to students in a K-12 educational setting. This position is open to both virtual and onsite candidates, offering flexibility in how services are delivered.
Location: Albany, OR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students speech and language needs.
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably in K-12 settings.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with IEP development and the special education process.
