Job Type: Full Time, Variable Shift

Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

• Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.

• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum EducationMaster's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology:

A Preferred X Required

Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist

Current Speech-language Pathology License in State of Tennessee:A Preferred X Required

Required SkillsCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
