Behavior Case Manager (SAE)

The Behavioral Case Manager is responsible for managing the full broad range of clinical duties, as well as special assignments. General duties include (but are not limited to): conducting behavioral assessments, creating evidence-based behavior intervention plans, team consultation/collaboration, providing oversight and training on individualized behavior plans and general best-practice behavioral strategies, and providing crisis intervention and monitoring. The Behavioral Case Manager will take the lead on conducting assessment and treatment sessions for students under the guidance of the Supervising Clinician and Clinical Coordinator for Summit Academy Enhanced. The Behavioral Case Manager will take the lead role of guiding Behavioral Support Specialists within assessment and treatment sessions and work collaboratively with the Teacher to guide the Behavior Support Specialists within the classroom setting.

  1. Conduct and complete evidence-based behavioral assessments
  2. Formulate function-based behavior interventions
  3. Develop and write required reports in a timely manner
  4. Present reports and progress updates to various committees, collaboration groups, and parent meetings as requested
  5. Measure progress and implementation fidelity for Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Treatment Plans
  6. Train staff in best practice methods for treatment sessions, including implementation of written protocols, data collection, and assessment procedures.
  7. Provide team consultation and direct support to classroom teams as needed
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when making treatment decisions
  9. Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for students
  10. Ensure that IEP mandates are fulfilled
  11. Maintain all records as required by Summit and governing agencies
  12. Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (or in process) required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree (or in process) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, School Psychology, or a related field. Experience in developing and implementing behavioral support plans with developmentally disabled individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis methods.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000
