Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide support to students in a school-based setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's academic success and daily life skills by promoting independence and participation in the educational environment. Position Overview:
As a School Occupational Therapist, you will assess and provide therapeutic interventions for students with developmental, physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to create individualized treatment plans that support student learning and success in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations in accordance with IEP requirements
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet students' educational goals
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications
Document student progress and maintain accurate and timely records
Provide consultation and training to school personnel on strategies and equipment use
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Occupational Therapist license in MS
NBCOT certification
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for helping students thrive in an academic environment
