The ideal candidate will assist in conducting assessments to evaluate student's speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings
This position also involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student's communication needs, monitoring student's progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
The candidate will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports
Responsibilities: Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement speech and language therapy programs for students.
Work with individuals or small groups to address communication goals.
Provide support in the assessment and documentation of students' progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic and effective support system.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications: Valid OR Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
