Local Contract Audiologist - $65-70 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Audiologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/14/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Duties: To provide evaluation and treatment of audiological disorders to Sharp Rees-Stealy patients upon appropriate medical/professional referral, predominantly in an ambulatory setting, as part of a coordinated health care team. Skills: AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED Audiologist - California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board -REQUIRED Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) - The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) PREFERRED Education: Master's Degree In Audiology if graduated prior to 01/2008 OR Doctoral Degree in Audiology if graduated after 01/2008 REQUIRED Float between Chula Vista (closing to move to Otay Ranch date TBD), Otay Ranch, Scripps Ranch, San Diego Main, La Mesa/Grossmont Medical Plaza, Sorrento Mesa. Schedule will be set well ahead of time likely weeks ahead of time 7:30a-6p - 4 10 hour shifts M-F The work is primarily adult and pediatric audiological evaluations and not electrophysiology. This is a clinic setting in which the Audiologists work independently with a Patient Service Representative checking in patients and we have a Audiology Tech that assists with basic hearing aid management.
