This is an entry-level position for individuals trained in environmental science, physical sciences, or engineering. Work will include assisting with and conducting environmental site investigations, which may involve environmental site assessments, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling. This is a fieldwork-intensive position, although duties will also include report writing and preparing figures and drawings.

Responsibilities
Assist field investigations by collecting soil, soil vapor, and water samples
Document site activities
Direct work of subcontractors as applicable
Prepare written reports, exhibits, and drawings
Calibrate and operate various pieces of field equipment
Work with varying degrees of supervision
Qualifications
Degree in physical sciences, environmental science, or engineering
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience conducting field assessments
Competent-to-advanced user of MS Office Suite
GIS, Auto CAD experience a plus
California driver's license
The pay range for this position in California is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
