Physical Therapist Employment Type: Full-time Overview: A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join an Early Intervention (EI) program supporting children ages 0-3 with developmental needs. This role involves evaluating motor development, creating individualized therapy plans, and working closely with families to foster progress through play-based therapy. Key Responsibilities: Conduct developmental and motor evaluations for infants and toddlers. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans. Provide therapy services in home, center, or community-based settings. Educate and empower families to integrate motor development strategies into daily routines. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all program and state regulations. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary EI team to support children's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals. Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current and valid New York State license as a Physical Therapist. Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. Experience in early childhood or Early Intervention is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
