is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Care Department in Bolivar, Missouri. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: The Respiratory Care Department sets a high standard for patient care and seeks to provide timely and quality respiratory care to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under medical supervision.
A typical day includes: Examining patients, performing diagnostic tests, ing multiple treatment methods, and monitoring and recording patient progress.
Utilizes equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served
Modifies daily workload calculation to staffing needs
Documents procedures performed on patient and department records
Documents verbal orders for therapy and equipment
This position is full-time nights, 6pm-6am
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program with an Associates Degree
Experience: New graduates wee; 1 year of experience preferred
Skills: Communication, teamwork,passion, time-management
Licensure/Certification: Current State of Missouri Registered Respiratory Therapist
Physical: Frequent walking, standing, bending; performing repetitive movements; ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs - 20 lbs on occasion.
