Type: Contract What Youll Do
As our Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Assess students fine/gross motor, sensory, and functional skills in educational settings
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Support students in accessing the curriculum through adaptive strategies and accommodations
- Provide direct therapy and consult with teachers, aides, and families
- Maintain documentation in compliance with IDEA and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
- Promote independence and participation in school routines and environments
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state OT licensure
- Experience working with children or adolescents in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Understanding of IDEA, IEP process, and best practices in school-based OT
- Passion for working with diverse learners and inclusive education
