Occupational Therapist (OT) -Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

Outpatient

Hours vary: M-F 7a-7p

PRN

PRN rate: $60/hr

Candidate required to travel to multiple locations

Coverage area: North Austin, Cedar Park and Williamson County area

Seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or OT with at least 3 years experience with intentions of sitting for the CHT exam to treat conservative and post-operative conditions in a dynamic clinic setting.

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patients need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required
• Home Care Requirements (if applicable for setting): One or more years of clinical experience and valid state Drivers License.
