Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based | Cohoes, NY

Soliant is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position in Cohoes, NY for the 20252026 school year . This role supports a private school that serves students ages 522 with a range of developmental and communication needs.

Job Details:

• Full-time, school-based contract

• Dates: September 2, 2025 June 26, 2026

• Caseload: Grades K12, ages 522

• Setting: Private special needs school (two-building campus)

• 45, 30-minute therapy sessions per week

• Programs include:

  • RAAVE Autism-related support

  • MOVE Motor and communication needs

  • MAAVE Combined support needs

• AAC tools: PECS, direct select voice output devices, eye gaze devices

• Feeding therapy needs: dysphagia management, oral care, desensitization protocols

• Responsibilities: Daily documentation, evaluations, progress monitoring, quarterly/annual reports

• Supported by a collaborative team and structured training program

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New York SLP license

• TSSLD certification (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred
