A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Auburn, CA. This is a contract position for the 2023-2024 school year (NSY), focused on providing speech and language services to meet diverse student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across grade levels K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) related to speech and language goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students to enhance communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Knowledge of current speech and language assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain required documentation
