A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required to manage a high school caseload at a contract position within a school setting in Joliet, IL. This role is ideal for an SLP with experience or interest in pediatrics, school environments, or healthcare, including those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and treatment plans tailored to high school students.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students communication needs and goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to promote student communication proficiency.
Qualifications:
- SLP certification with CCC or current SLP licensure valid for practice.
- Experience or background in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language therapy services preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and education professionals.
