Job Summary\: Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy support to pre- school aged children.
Essential Functions \:
- Determine sensory-motor development, perceptual-motor development, visual-perceptual skills, functiona l level of daily living skills (feeding, dressing, hygiene, toileting) and adaptive equipment needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary evaluations and g enerate written reports to assist in determining need for special education and related services according to federal and state eligibility requirements
- Contribute to the development of IEP’s including educationally relevant functional goals
- Collect and analyze data for progress monitoring
- Provide varied levels of services as required by the student and reflected on the IEP including direct service, consultation and monitoring.
- Work with families, typical preschools and preschool special education staff to support carry over and differentiated instruction strategies
- Knowledge of a broad range of assessment strategies and analysis skills
- High level organization and time management skills

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work \: This is a full-time, 193 -day position following the Preschool Early Intervention Stretch Calendar . Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work a re 7.5 hours per day . Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel \: This position requires travel between assignments.
Education and Experience \:
Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy required
PA Occupational Therapy License required
- School or pediatric based experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable) \: Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.
