Speech Therapist in Rolla, MO

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming and current school year, serving a K-12 public school setting with an emphasis on early childhood and elementary students. This role offers a supportive environment where you will provide essential speech and language services to diverse student populations.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering targeted treatment, and maintaining thorough documentation. You will also have the opportunity to supervise two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and collaborate closely with educational staff to support student success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active or pending California SLP license, or eligibility to apply for one
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to manage a caseload primarily focused on early childhood and elementary students
• Strong skills in IEP development, assessments, and treatment planning
• Supervisory experience working with SLPAs is a plus
