Job Overview:

The Coordinator Clinical coordinates the daily activities of the Physical Therapy Department.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's, Master's or DPT degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current license from the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time (FT)

Essential Functions:

• Recommend and initiate orders for material, equipment and supplies
• Periodically review service performance and recommend actions or changes to director
• Maintain knowledge of current laws and standards of practice as relates to Physical Therapy
• Serve as a resource to other departments for the specialty
• Work with department coordinators to ensure efficient patient care and operation of the rehabilitation department
• Contribute to hospital and community education within scope of knowledge
• Assist the director to train, evaluate and develop employees
• Schedule and direct the activities of staff and volunteers
• Perform the duties of a physical therapist as per Physical Therapist Description
