Arnot Health is currently hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist for our outpatient rehabilitation clinic, with a strong focus on pediatric care and the opportunity to work across the lifespan-from infants to older adults.
As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will evaluate and treat a diverse caseload, with particular emphasis on pediatric developmental needs, while also supporting adults with physical, sensory, and functional challenges.
What You'll Do:
Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
Evaluate pediatric patients for developmental delays, sensory integration issues, and fine motor challenges.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's age, ability, and goals.
Recommend and assist with the fitting of splints, orthotics, adaptive devices, and assistive technology.
Educate and support families, caregivers, and patients to ensure long-term success in home and community settings.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, physicians, educators, and nursing staff to provide coordinated care.

Qualifications:
Licensed, or license-eligible, to practice Occupational Therapy in New York State.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric experience preferred; must be comfortable treating all age groups in an outpatient setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with both children and adults.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Frequent standing and movement; ability to assist with patient positioning and equipment.
Exposure Category II: Minimal exposure to blood/body fluids.
