DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and providing group and individualized therapeutic interventions to our adult population. This will include completing clinical documentation and maintaining department order, safety, and inventory. You will utilize a wide range of clinical skills to address the psychosocial and physical needs of our patients. Work involves following established treatment plans to help patients achieve short term and long term goals in order to regain independence and improve their quality of life. This will include observing and reporting an individual's behavior, attitude, or physical condition, while making necessary adjustments to therapeutic programs. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, working every 5th Saturday with the following Monday off, and a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
- You must be in possession of a license to assist in the practice of occupational therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure, or possession of a temporary license.
Condition of Employment:
- Persons possessing a temporary license will be accepted pending full licensure which must occur within one year after employment.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
