Job Summary:
United Health Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy Aide to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Services team. This role will primarily be based at Wilson Medical Center, providing support to multiple inpatient departments.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare and interested in exploring Healthcares career paths paticularily Physical and Occupational Therapy . Youll work alongside a highly skilled, collaborative team known for consistently increasing patient volume and delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physical and occupational therapists with treatment setup and patient support
Prepare, clean, and maintain therapy areas and equipment
Escort and assist patients during therapy sessions
Observe and report on patient responses and progress
Perform basic administrative duties such as documentation and supply stocking
Float to various therapy units and locations as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a healthcare or therapy setting preferred
Interest in healthcare careers and patient care strongly encouraged
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching required
Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility

Inpatient Therapy and Rehabilitation Support, UHS Wilson Medical CenterWork Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experienceThis position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Has a working knowledge of medical terminology, previous experience in patient care and clerical skills
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
