Essential Duties

The position is twelve-month, open rank, with rank and tenure possibilities. The Speech-Language Pathology program offers an undergraduate pre-professional Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. The Mississippi University for Women Speech-Language Pathology Programs holds accreditation by the Council of Academic Accreditation of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

The Speech-Language Pathology program offers an undergraduate pre-professional Bachelors of Science degree in speech pathology and a Masters of Science degree in speech-language pathology.

In addition to administrative duties as the chair, other duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, clinical supervision, developing academic and clinical programs, and participating in university activities.

Minimum Qualifications

The person filling the position should hold a doctorate in communication sciences or disorders or related field, current CCC-A or CCC-SLP with university experience, eligibility for a Mississippi license to practice, and have leadership skills to guide strong academic and clinical programs and a faculty of six.
