We are offering a challenging full time Mental Health Case Manager to provide case management to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

Essential job duties of this position include; assessment and planning services to include developing an ISP per Medicaid regulations; monthly contacts, activities or communication relevant to the ISP; Coordinating services and treatment planning with other agencies and providers; psychotropic medications; providing crisis and behavioral interventions.

Requirements

M1: Bachelor's degree in human services field or related field.

M2: One (1) year position related experience in clinical experience and/or case management services to children and families.

M3: Qualified Mental Health Case Manager (QMHCM) and/or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation.

M4: Must meet the DBHDS definition of Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

To qualify as a QMHP, the individual must have the designated clinical experience and must either (i) be a doctor of medicine or osteopathy licensed in Virginia; (ii) have a master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university with at least one year of clinical experience with children and adolescents; (iii) have a social work bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university with at least one year of documented clinical experience with children or adolescents; (iv) be a registered nurse with at least one year of clinical experience with children and adolescents; (v) have at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field or in special education from an accredited college with at least one year of clinical experience with children and adolescents, or (vi) be a licensed mental health professional.

M5: Valid Driver's License with a point balance of -6 or higher.

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

Annual Salary Range

Grade S-C7

$50,068.00 - $56,329.00
