These assessments provide objective recommendations to health plans about the equipment and services their members need to safely complete their activities of daily living and remain functionally independent in their home. We do not provide patient care, only consulting services. Job Responsibilities: Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual's home. Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at the time of job offer). Reliable vehicle for work Ability to complete physical requirements of the job including lifting a 30-pound, navigating stairs and a variety of dwelling conditions, and sit, stand and kneel to perform physical assessment, occasionally, as needed. Job Type:A Independent Consultant Our ideal candidate has: Experience with home safety assessments Experience with durable medical equipment, assistive technology and home modificationsA Comfort assessing a wide variety of conditions and diagnoses Excellent communication skills both verbally and writingA Comfort using technology and electronic documentationA Ability to think outside the box, utilize critical thinking skills and come up with appropriate solutions Drive to continually learn and grow Prior experience is not required- we are willing to train the right person Requirements: Licensed Physical / Occupational Therapists only.
