Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Amarillo, TX Duration:13 Weeks Contract Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Schedule: 40 hours/week Travel Requirements: Must live 100+ miles away from the facility Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,566.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,320.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team in an inpatient acute care setting. The role involves conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing age-appropriate, individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings. You will also ensure timely and accurate documentation and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based occupational therapy to acute care inpatients. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical team members. Document all assessments, progress, and treatments in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities and patient conditions.
