Travel Physical Therapist - $2,866 per week

iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/30/2025 Duration: 15 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel JOB REQUIREMENT: Some duties as assigned. -Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community based care and home health care. Pediatric Physical Therapist: The following also apply: -Evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents for various health conditions. Addressing motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait, etc. -Interviewing children and family members, using physical examination to diagnose movement disorder. -Ability to evaluate and treat patient from 18yrs old and older. -Float to adult units if needed if pediatric patient census fluctuates. -Evaluates and treats pediatric patients from birth to 18yrs old, regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. -Settings include inpatient, inpatient emergency department. Required Skills & Experience: -Must have Inpatient and Outpatient Experience. -Must have at least one year of Peds PT experience if working in Peds. -Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment. -At least one 13 week previous travel assignment. -Two (2) years current experience required in specialty. Preferred Skills & Experience: -EPIC experience; can train on-site. Required Education: -Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred Education: -Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Must have a New Mexico PT License. -BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. $2866 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
