Occupational Therapist School Setting in Woodbridge, VA

A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based practice to support K-12 students across two school buildings. This contract position, located in Woodbridge, VA, offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of elementary and high school-aged students over the 20252026 academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy to students aged approximately 5-18 years.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the physical, sensory, and cognitive needs of students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals within the school environment.
• Manage a caseload of 25-30 students, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure with credentials relevant to school-based practice.
• Demonstrated experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and educational settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
