JOB PURPOSE:

Our mission is to advance the science behind practice, develop practice ready speech-language pathologists to serve the communication needs of individuals from all backgrounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University of Wyomings Division of Communication Disorders is seeking an Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Pathology. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. Primary responsibilities include: teaching, service, and sustaining a research program in areas of interest. On campus presence is required for teaching and other duties. Salary and benefits are competitive, and start-up package is excellent.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Earned doctorate in speech-language pathology or related discipline and evidence of potential for independent research productivity and publications.
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy .

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in developmental speech and language disorders, stuttering, autism, aural rehabilitation, or dysphagia is preferred, but all other areas of expertise will be considered.
  • Candidates who hold CCC-SLP are also preferred but not required.
