Physical Therapist - Inpatient - La Jolla

This is a full-time (64 hrs/2 weeks) inpatient position at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. You will work varied days 8am-4:30pm including a weekend day. Bonus Eligible*

Join our team as a Physical Therapist within our Inpatient Physical Therapy department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide.

The Physical Therapist provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.

• $4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if eligible. Must be moving from 100+ miles.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
• Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Current BLS Certificate

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting

Position Pay Range: $52.28-$75.96/hour
