As a Clinical Rehab Manager, you will report to the Outpatient Director and work closely with leadership from both NI and ISI. Responsibilities are to coordinate, lead and direct hospital outpatient rehabilitation services within the Neurological Institute, specializing in Hand Occupational Therapy. You will provide clinical expertise in the evaluation and treatment of patients while serving as a role model to rehabilitation staff through effective and efficient direct patient care, expanding and updating clinical skillset. This role includes travel as needed between assigned departments and 14 sites, with oversight of 19 direct reports.

A caregiver in this position works rotating day/evening shifts between 7:00 a.m. 3:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m. with travel requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Manage assigned therapy practice rehabilitation services.

  • Manage development and implementation of appropriate standards of care across assigned therapy locations.

  • Ensure delivery of rehabilitation services emulates "best practices" and is in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Manage designated locations' rehabilitation staff.

  • Manages staffing levels and capacity, is proactive in recruitment and retention initiatives to ensure availability of staff.

  • Manage implementation of new patient care services to keep the Institute market competitive and produce positive clinical outcomes.

  • Keep abreast of current practice trends.

  • Maintain a work environment that fosters quality care delivery, accountability and employee satisfaction.

  • Develop staff members with effective coaching, counseling and mentoring.

  • Plan and implement education and training programs.

  • Collaborate to deliver clinical services that result in positive clinical and financial outcomes with high levels of customer service.

  • Implement and manage performance and process improvement initiatives, productivity benchmarks and standards, approved budget and financial management activities.

  • Provide direct patient care in specialty areas when needed.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Licensed and registered to practice PT (Physical Therapy), OT (Occupational Therapy), ST (Speech Therapy) in the State of Ohio

  • 5 years therapy experience and demonstrated leadership and understanding of the product line and operational metrics.

  • Computer efficiency, Outlook, Word and Excel skills

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Occupational Therapy

  • Hand Therapy

Physical Requirements:
