Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract To Hire Position Overview We're currently searching for a passionate and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual support to K-12 students across Florida . This fully remote opportunity lets you work from home while delivering personalized therapy services designed to help students maximize their independence and achieve academic success. As a key part of our dynamic teletherapy team, you'll collaborate closely with families, school staff, and service providers to create tailored, student-centric interventions all within a flexible, online platform. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop, implement, and adjust IEP goals and treatment plans in compliance with Florida state guidelines and student data. Adapt and modify therapy strategies to align with each student's unique functional, motor, and sensory needs. Collaborate with special education teams, general education teachers, and families to help provide a unified and comprehensive approach to service delivery. Monitor student progress regularly and adjust intervention plans to maximize progress toward goals. Take part in virtual IEP meetings, offering clinical expertise and recommendations. Keep accurate service delivery records and documentation in adherence to Florida education standards and district policies. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Florida . Preferred two years of pediatric or school-based Occupational Therapy experience. Proficient in developing treatment plans, progress reports, and complying with special education procedures. Technologically proficient and comfortable using remote therapy platforms and digital tools. Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills. Self-directed and able to effectively manage a caseload remotely. Technology Requirements Reliable high-speed internet connection. Laptop or desktop computer (tablets and Chromebooks are not supported). Ability to complete a brief tech screening to assure platform compatibility.
