Description: Soliant is seeking an experienced and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract position near Somerton, Arizona. Qualifications : Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Licensing: Valid Arizona state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Certification: Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Experience: At least one year of recent experience in the field, preferably in a school or pediatric setting

Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check

Additional Requirements: Continuing education credits and professional development as mandated by the state and district

Responsibilities : Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to support students' educational and developmental goals.

Monitor and document students' progress and collaborate with the OT to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' needs.

Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with state and district regulations.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
