Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 1. General Job Duties and Types of Procedures The Physical Therapist will focus on skilled physical therapy assignments aimed at improving patients' function in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties include: Evaluating and treating patients to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function. Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Performing therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Educating patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs. 2. Equipment Utilized HealthLand EMR : Used for computerized charting and patient documentation. Standard physical therapy equipment including treatment tables, exercise machines, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and assistive devices. 3. Required Skills and Minimum Years of Experience Education : Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's Degree preferred. Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy. Skills : Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions; strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Specific Licensures and Certifications Oregon PT License : Required. BLS (Basic Life Support) : Required. 5. Shift or Schedule Requirements Shift details are outlined in the job posting.
