Speech-Language Pathologist in Statesville, NC

A dynamic position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapeutic services in a K-12 school setting located in Statesville, NC. This contract role spans the full school year and offers the opportunity to support pediatric clients with diverse speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific goals
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions to improve speech and language competencies
• Accurately monitor and document each students progress throughout treatment
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
• Involve and educate families in supporting therapy goals and progress

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Carolina
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Active approval by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in North Carolina is required
