Compensation: $14.50 - $18.15 (based on years of experience)
Summary:
The Physical Therapy Aide maintains the readiness of the therapy clinicand performs patient care activities as outlined in Oregon practice regulations(OAR) under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist or Licensed PhysicalTherapist Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Will participate and maintain a culture within The CorvallisClinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and BehavioralStandards Handbook. To this end, employee will be expected to read, havefamiliarity, and embrace the principles contained within.
- Maintains clinic readiness by stockingtreatment supplies and cleaning of treatment areas and equipment.
- Responsible for the cleaning of alltreatment rooms in Physical Therapy and the daily cleaning of equipment in thegym area.
- Directs patient flow and preparepatients for therapy.
- Performs treatmentand non-treatment related tasks allowable under the Oregon State PT practiceAct including but not limited to exercise programs and application ofmodalities.
- Maintains clinic treatment records; preparedaily charts, order supplies, process claims, etc.
- Maintain proficiency in the use ofclinic computer systems for retrieval of information or the scheduling ofpatients.

Assists MOS personnel to answer phones and schedulepatients.
Education, licensure andexperience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience as an assistant in a similar workenvironment, therapy aide or similar position preferred.
Background which covered anatomy, physiology, or kinesiologypreferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)certification required.
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to work on a computer.
- Ability to work compatibly withphysicians, staff members, and patients.
