With 152 licensed beds and more than 500 employees, the hospital averages 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over the age of 55, and remains the ONLY cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County. Responsibilities

Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be toward the assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Valid State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required

2. Valid BCLS Certificate upon hire and maintain current

3. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. If there is no Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree, a high school diploma or equivalent is required

4. 2 years' experience as an RCP preferred.

5. ACLS preferred.

6. NRP preferred.

7. PALS preferred.

8. Certification as a Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist preferred.
