In this role, you will be responsible for delivering respiratory care services aligned with the clinical skills and competencies you have successfully demonstrated during your formal training. Job Description Will provide care for all patient populations, generally only in non-critical care units. Must be able to work with the growth and development needs of unique client populations. Must possess the skills necessary to assess the respiratory status of patients of all ages. Must understand and demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory care equipment used and therapies performed. Must be able to learn and utilize new technology as the state of the art of respiratory care evolves. Qualifications Must be enrolled in an American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) endorsed program of Respiratory Care. Must have verification from the program of skills in which competency has been demonstrated. Must complete orientation and other competency validations and in-services as required by the department and hospital. Must have a current applicable state license for Respiratory Care Practitioner.
