Job Description
This opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Stuart, FL. Candidates can select from six openings across grade levels K through 12, with options for full-time or part-time engagement on a contract basis for the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, and school-based settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for newly credentialed SLPs is acceptable
- SLPAs with school or healthcare experience considered only if paired with an available SLP supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to students needs across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document therapy outcomes
- Engage in teletherapy sessions as needed, utilizing technology to reach students effectively
- Follow all school and healthcare compliance guidelines related to speech pathology services
