Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 school setting in Detroit, MI. The role is part-time, contract-based for the full school year, focusing on delivering high-quality care to a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
- Conduct IEP meetings and collaborate with education teams to support student progress.
- Perform speech and language evaluations as required.
- Utilize the PowerSchool system to manage caseload documentation and student progress.
- Travel between 3-4 buildings within the same campus, with minimal walking time between locations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in healthcare and pediatric settings highly preferred.
- Previous work in school-based speech-language pathology environments.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently, with potential to complete work in 2-3 days per week.
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication in multidisciplinary teams.
- In-person engagement required; remote or VOCO therapy is not permitted at this time.
