Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a high school setting in Joliet, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year. This position offers guaranteed hours throughout the full school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech and language therapy services to high school students.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, therapy plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals.
- Stay current with best practices and professional development in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid licensure as required by the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with adolescent populations in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
