Role: Speech & Language Pathologist Reports to: Head of Lower School - Primary Division Department: Whole School Job Status: Part Time - 12 hours per week Position Start Date: Immediate Job Description The speech and language pathologist will meet with approximately 20 elementary and middle school students who demonstrate articulation difficulties individually or in small groups. The schedule for the meetings with these students will be developed with the Head of Lower School - Primary Division. Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose speech, communication, or swallowing difficulties Work with supervisor to schedule weekly individual or small group therapy sessions Provide counseling to patients and patients' families about results of testing and recommended treatment options Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patients Maintain communication with faculty Qualifications Familiarity with a variety of speech disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills Masters degree in speech language pathology or related field Active state SLP license Application & Writing Response Please apply via the link below, and provide the following: A current resume Three professional references including names, telephone numbers, and email addresses In addition to a standard cover letter, please respond to the following questions in no more than 500 words.
