Deep tissue /sports massage, Taping-kinesio/leuko Cupping therapy Electrical stimulation Working with adults and children who, due to disabilities or complex medical conditions, need assistance in developing the kinds of everyday skills that allow them to function more independently at home, school, or work. Responsibilities Averages 8-10 patients a day Develop Plan of Treatment for each patient Document patient progress Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals Develop a plan for patients following completion of their Plan of Treatment with appropriate in-home care services. Types of injuries, diseases and conditions: Orthopedic dysfunction Chronic Pain Workplace injuries Post-surgical Rehabilitation Arthritis Gait and Balance Deficits TMJ | Vertigo/Repositioning Vestibulo-Ocular Therapy Orthopedic injuries Work related injuries ADL specific activities Sports specific activities Ergonomics Pain management Core stability/strengthening Vestibular therapy / Vertigo Gait analysis / Balance Fall prevention Post- stroke rehab Total joint replacement ACL Repair Rotator Cuff Repair Qualifications New grads are welcome to apply!! BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current Physical Therapist experience. Graduate from a fully accredited Physical Therapist program Active unencumbered Massachusetts Physical Therapist state license One year of EMR experience Well rounded PT: Allow Dry Needl Experience assisting and directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants. Knowledge of responsible use of facility equipment, and preventative maintenance procedures. Experience with recommending assistive equipment to patients and outpatient or home health follow-up programs. BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
