A Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the entire school year and offers the opportunity to support students communication development across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated support for student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide expert recommendations and updates on student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with staff, students, and families.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently throughout the school year.
