Long Term Substitute- Speech & Language Pathologist

We are seeking a long-term substitute Speech and Language Pathologist to work at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center and the Shawsheen Elementary School servicing students from preschool - grade 3 from October 6, 2025, through January 30, 2026. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be responsible to screen, assess, diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, fluency and other related disorders. In addition, the speech and language pathologist will be responsible for the following:

• Provide speech and language services according to Individual Education Plans
• Complete all necessary Special Education paperwork
• Attend IEP Team meetings and participate in regularly scheduled meetings and professional learning
• Participate in the Instructional Support Team to discuss data and goals for student success through the RTI process
• Evaluate students and complete evaluation reports for initial and 3-year re-evaluations
• Consult with teachers and other team members on student disabilities
• Conduct Team meetings of speech only students
• Provide case load reports and schedules to special education office
• Provide Medicaid documentation as requested
• Responsible for programming and training with use of augmentative communication systems
• Communicate with outside agencies as needed
• Other related responsibilities as assigned
