School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Modesto, California

This opportunity is for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants interested in delivering vital services within a K-12 school environment in Modesto, CA. This is a contract role for the 2024-2025 school year, focusing on supporting students with speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual goals
• Provide direct therapy targeting speech, language, and communication skills
• Monitor and document progress meticulously to guide ongoing care
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated support
• Engage families in the therapeutic process to promote continuity and understanding

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
• Degree requirement: Masters or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
