This opportunity is for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants interested in delivering vital services within a K-12 school environment in Modesto, CA. This is a contract role for the 2024-2025 school year, focusing on supporting students with speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual goals
- Provide direct therapy targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor and document progress meticulously to guide ongoing care
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated support
- Engage families in the therapeutic process to promote continuity and understanding
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
- Degree requirement: Masters or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
