Position Overview:

This role allows you to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment, where you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. If you are driven to help students achieve their full potential and thrive in a dynamic educational setting, this is the opportunity for you.

Position Details:

  • Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
  • Dates: 25/26 school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom.
  • Provide therapy in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress updates.
  • Educate staff and families on speech and language development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • WA State SLP license
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
