Grace is seeking a Product Analytics Manager to join our RT Business Management team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the ART business unit by ensuring that all aspects of product data management are clearly defined and effectively executed to meet both customer requirements and internal operational needs.
The Product Analytics Manager will be responsible for enabling the smooth flow of information and processes across forecasting, financial planning, order entry, and manufacturing execution. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the hydroprocessing product portfolio and its associated manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include conducting research and gathering data to support informed decision-making by the Product Management team. The role also supports the standardization of global processes and systems to ensure a consistent and disciplined approach to product data management.
In this role, the Product Analytics Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales and Technical Service, Sales Enablement, Strategic Marketing, Plant Operations, Operations Finance, Plant Quality, Process Technology (PT), and the Manila Operations Center.
Responsibilities- Lead the management of product specifications to ensure consistency across manufacturing sites and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Provide global operational support to Product Management by managing data, conducting analytics, and delivering insights that enhance portfolio performance.
- Analyze and assess key performance metrics such as margin, product mix, and rationalization to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.
- Develop and maintain accurate product portfolio data to ensure reliable reporting and informed business planning.
- Own the Business Management of Change (BMOC) process for new and existing product grades and specifications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Quality to develop and validate product specifications that meet performance and production standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate creation of product master data by coordinating with global operations centers and data governance teams.
- Serve as a global administrator and subject matter expert for the Amalgam specification management system, supporting system integrity and user training.
- Support Product Managers with documentation and governance by developing process materials and participating in cost containment and customer-specific initiatives.
- Facilitate implementation of global programs and systems such as Enablon, LIMS, SAP, and Data Integrity initiatives, while supporting product stewardship and quality-related inquiries.
- Possess 7+ years of experience in the chemical industry or a related technical field, with a Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline.
- Demonstrate a strategic mindset with a proven ability to execute and deliver results efficiently.
- Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and data rationalization skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively at all levels through strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and collaborate well in cross-functional environments.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Display a high level of accountability, resourcefulness, and the ability to self-manage tasks and priorities; fluency in English is required.
- 2 years of experience in financial and/or data analytics
- Exposure to 6-sigma and/or Lean manufacturing
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP, Enablon, Salesforce Analytics
