Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is a state-of-the-art referral hospital currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Physical Rehabilitation team.

Gold Coast proudly offers a variety of rehabilitation services and modalities, including:

• In-patient/out-patient rehab

No rehabilitation experience necessary all training will be provided!
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: As a Veterinary Assistant on our Rehab team, you will support patients and technicians in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include:

• Safely and gently restraining patients during rehabilitation sessions
• Assisting with physical rehabilitation treatments
• Preparing and maintaining rehab equipment and therapy areas
• Supporting patient handling and movement through various therapies
• Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
• Providing comfort, encouragement, and care to patients and clients

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting
• Confidence and experience in safely restraining animals
• A passion for animal wellness and rehabilitation
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• A kind, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
